My Top Picks from Nintendo's Holiday Showcase

I just returned from Nintendo’s awesome Holiday Showcase in New York City. I was able to try out current Nintendo games as well as some up and coming new releases. Here are my picks to look out for this holiday season - from games to accessories and Nintendo-inspired toys. Bookmark this for your future gift lists, because if you have Nintendo fans in your household, you’re gonna need this!

Switch Lite Hyrule Edition

This version of the Switch Lite is really beautiful and features a gold-colored design inspired by the Legend of Zelda game series, with the iconic Hylian Crest displayed on the back. The Switch Lite Hyrule Edition also comes with Bonus Nintendo Switch Online and expansion pack. Available now.


The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom

This long anticipated game will not disappoint for Zelda fans! Gamers finally get to play as Zelda herself in this magical addition to the Link and Zelda franchise. According to Nintendo, "The people of Hyrule are being stolen away by strange rifts that have appeared throughout the kingdom. With a certain swordsman among the missing, it’s up to Princess Zelda to save her kingdom in a brand-new adventure in the Legend of Zelda series." LEGO Horizon Adventures

This awesome LEGO Horizon Adventures game is coming soon and will be available at LEGO.com for Nintendo Switch. According to LEGO:  "Join hunter Aloy as she leads a colorful crew of heroes on a quest to save the meadows, forests and mountains of Earth from a man called Helis, who leads a gang of sun-worshippers that follow an Ancient Evil shrouded in mystery." Graphics were on-point and gameplay was smooth and entertaining, in my opinion. Coming soon.


My SIMS Cozy Bundle

Super Mario Party Jamboree

Compete in an assortment of mini games to see who can get the most stars- from running through merry-go-rounds to motion-control minigolf, there are seven boards and over 110 mini games to play. Super Mario Party Jamboree is available 10/17/24.


LEGO Mario & Yoshi set

Recreate the pixelated appearance of Mario and Yoshi with this amazing set. Truly a work of art, Super Mario World Mario & Yoshi features 1215 pieces with moving parts to mimic animation effects. Recommended for ages 18 and up. Coming soon.


LEGO Great Deku Tree 2-in-1

With the Great Deku Tree 2-in-1 set, you can build the tree from Ocarina of Time or Breath of the Wild. Then, rebuild it and revisit the legend again and again. 2 minifigure versions of Link, Young Link and Princess Zelda are included. Set contains 2500 pieces and is recommended for ages 18 and up.
