Open Call for Junior Rangers!
New Jersey SEA LIFE Aquarium, opening this summer at American Dream in East Rutherford, is announcing an open call and recruitment for SEA LIFE Junior Rangers – the exclusive club of science “fin-atics.” Children with an interest in science and/or environmental conservation can be one of the first SEA LIFE Junior Rangers, a group of kids who work with SEA LIFE’s Curator and his team of aquarists on fun events and activities at the aquarium, and off-site events that will contribute to local conservation efforts. **Casting call has been closed! Junior Rangers chosen! Thanks to all who participated!
Who Can Apply and How
From January 23rd through February 5th, applicants ages 7 through 12 located in Northern New Jersey and New York City, can enter by posting a 30 second to one-minute video recording to Facebook or Instagram with the hashtag #sealifenjrangers, explaining what they love most about the planet. 8-12 winners will be announced on February 10, 2020. What Do Junior Rangers Get in Return?
As SEA LIFE’s Junior Rangers, they (and their families) will get unlimited entry to the aquarium and be invited to participate in exclusive events throughout the year. The SEA LIFE Junior Rangers program lasts a year, from March 2020 to March 2021, at which time the group is asked to help select the next group of recruits.

How Winners Will Be Chosen:
The curator as well as the wider team at New Jersey SEA LIFE will review entries.
Those who exhibit the strongest passion for science/the environment will be considered
Level of creativity and imagination in their approach will also be considered
Selection will be made at the sole discretion of Merlin Entertainments Group. All rights reserved.
