Disclosure: I was provided media passes to visit Liberty Science Center and the Sean Kenney exhibit in exchange for coverage on the blog, but this in no way influenced my opinion. Trust me, I wouldn't steer you wrong!

About the Sean Kenney LEGO Art Exhibit
The LEGO art exhibit was created by artist Sean Kenney. You may have recalled me spinning around on a Harry Potter LEGO broom during a gallery event in New York City a few years ago (you can see that on my Instagram page here). Well, that magnificent broom was created by none other than Sean Kenney! He is a master of LEGO, in my personal opinion (is that an official occupational title? Master of LEGO? Because it should be). His work is amazing.
About the LEGO Exhibit
You can read all about the exhibit here, or check out this blurb right from the Liberty Science Center website about the exhibit:
"This premium exhibition features stunning works of art made from simple LEGO bricks to explore animal endangerment, the balance of ecosystems, and mankind’s relationship with nature. Experience these stunning sculptures, all created by Brooklyn artist Sean Kenney using 1 million+ LEGO pieces, in this world premiere exhibition."
This exhibition also includes a hands-on play zone where guests can dream up and build their own wild creations using thousands of bricks. You can even enter a photo of your creation in Liberty Science Center's social media contest! Check their social channels for info.
What You'll See
I don't want to spoil the exhibit for you and show you everything, so you'll have to come and see the rest for yourself. But here are a few photos of the pieces we loved most.
Is it Worth the Money?
This is a premium exhibition at Liberty Science Center. That means it's visiting the center for only a short time, and it's a special exhibit. You can only see it if you purchase a premium ticket pass or a combo pass (both of which are an extra fee from your regular museum ticket). In this momma's personal opinion, this is absolutely worth the few extra bucks to see!! It's in its own separate section of the museum, and for us, it was free of campers and field trip visitors. There were several rooms to walk through and see creations, as well as videos running to show you how Kenney made his art. Several LSC members were on-hand to answer questions about the pieces, too. Anyone of any age would love this exhibit, especially LEGO fans. Go see it!!!
