About A Dog's Way Home
A Dog’s Way Home chronicles the heartwarming adventure of Bella, a dog who embarks on an epic 400-mile journey home after she is separated from her beloved human. Bella faces many obstacles along the way, but is determined to get back where she belongs. The film is rated PG and stars Ashley Judd, Jonah Hauer-King, Edward James Olmos, Alexandra Shipp, Wes Studi and Bryce Dallas Howard. Check out the trailer below!

A Note from The Jersey Momma
If you've seen the movie A Dog's Purpose you might've totally loved it, and you also might have cried. Just a little. That movie was wonderful but hard for me to deal with after losing my beloved dog, Milo. This movie, A Dog's Way Home, is also a tear-jerker, but in a more heartwarming way. It's definitely family friendly, but I recommend it for kids who can handle the idea that a dog is "lost" since there are some emotional moments. You can read more details about the plot (no spoilers!) from my friend, Kid Congeniality, too, since it's always great to get more than one perspective!
The dog who stars in the movie is incredible! Bella is truly adorable (and SO smart!!). You can read more about her in W. Bruce Cameron's book, Shelby's Story: A Dog's Way Home Tale. This book is geared towards kids, but adults will love it, too. It is inspired by the movie A Dog's Way Home!
