The Jersey Momma Year in Review 2018

2018 has come to a close, and I must admit, I'm a little sad to see it go! What a great year it's been! Once again, I'm so proud of how far this blog has come, and I am humbled by every person who reads it. It has always been my greatest wish to help others with this blog, to provide honest opinions and a safe resource for families to come to when looking for advice, reviews, recipes and more.

Check out my 2018 highlights below, especially if you're new to the blog. There might be some posts you haven't read or some recipes or reviews you want to revisit. Happy New Year, everyone! I can't wait to share 2019 with you. I already have BIG plans in store (*claps hands enthusiastically*)!

2018 Jersey Momma Milestones

-I became a member of The Toy Insider Parent Panel, serving as their educational liaison! You can read my first article, Educational Ideas for Winter Break here.

-I visited the grounds of LEGOLAND New York, which will be opening in 2020! I was able to see where the park will be built and learned all about the fun things to come! You can read all about that here.

-I met the beloved Queen who now runs the show at Medieval Times Lyndhurst, and ran from some pretty realistic looking dinosaurs at Field Station Dinosaurs. We tasted some of the best ice cream on the planet at Turkey Hill Experience, and visited the coolest cars in Hershey at AACA Auto Museum.

-I helped to promote some amazing sales, especially Diggerland USA's online tickets, and ABCMouse's holiday deals.

- I attended a preview night for LEGO's 2018 Fall line at a fun gallery in New York City

-The Chick-fil-A Moms Panel came to a close, but I continued my wonderful relationship with Chick-fil-A Flemington and continue to run their amazing Kids Club. You can read all about Kids Club and our fun projects here.

-I attended and promoted some amazing shows, including Toy Fair New York, The Summer Fancy Food Show, New York International AutoShow, Peppa Pig Live, The Aquatic Experience, New York Comic Con, Petcon, AnimeCon, and The Toy Insider's HoliDAY of Play.

-I attended the opening of Weehawken's House of 'Que, one of the best BBQ restaurants I have ever been to!

-I hit the bullseye over TEN times at Green Brook's awesome new hangout, Stumpy's Hatchet House

-I attended many movie premieres and helped to promote some of the best family films of the year, including Teen Titans Go! to the Movies, 12 Strong, Smallfoot, The Christmas Chronicles on Netlfix, Daphne and Velma, and Alex and Me.

-I partnered with Crayola Experience in Easton, PA, and hope to bring you plenty of fun Crayola Experience ticket giveaways in 2019!

-I held over 15 giveaways on the blog (and some more on Facebook), including Walmart gift cards, Amazon gift cards, Visa gift cards, Minecraft books, a Smallfoot BluRay DVD Combo pack, Teen Titans Go! to the Movies DVD, Aquatic Experience tickets, Alex and Me DVD pack, National Geographic's Welcome Little One Baby Book, Daphne & Velma DVD, 12 Strong movie tickets and book, jewelry gift card from Waxing Poetic, and so much more!

-We took an AWESOME family trip aboard Royal Caribbean's Anthem of the Seas to gorgeous Bermuda. You can read my tips and advice for cruising here (especially good for first time cruisers!).
