Also, don't say I didn't warn you, but Kurt Russell makes a rather attractive Santa Claus, and pretty much all of the ladies I talked to after seeing this movie were suddenly attracted to Santa. Just sayin. Anyway, I digress.

The Jersey Momma's Thoughts on The Christmas Chronicles (spoiler-free!)
I love Christmas movies and I love Kurt Russell, so I was excited to see this film debuting on Netflix. I can honestly tell you that it does not disappoint! It was really heartwarming and funny- at times a little sad- but it knows how to lift your mood in all the right places. I particularly loved Darby Camp as little Kate (you'll know her from 'Big Little Lies') and Kimberly Williams-Paisley as her mom (she's best known for 'Father of the Bride,' but I loved her in 'The 10th Kingdom!'). The movie has a bit of everything, from adorable elves to menacing bad guys (gamer and SYFY fans might recognize Jeff Teravainen playing a heartless thug). Keep an eye out for some fun cameos, too!
The movie really has a powerful message about love, family, and the importance of believing in the magic of Christmas. And on a side note, Kurt Russell is one of the best (and most handsome) Santas I have ever seen. ;)
